๐๏ธ Last updated: September 23, 20267md pdf runs entirely on your device. Every operation โ converting, compressing, merging, OCR, smart summary and translation, stamping and signing โ happens locally, and no file is ever uploaded to an external server. The app has no server of its own.
We do not collect, store or share any personal data. Specifically:
Documents you open or create are stored only inside the appโs space on your device and stay under your full control. You can delete them in the app at any time, and they are all removed when you delete the app.
Files in the vault are encrypted with AES-256. The key is kept only in your deviceโs Keychain and unlocks only with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. Vault files are excluded from backups, so neither we nor anyone else can recover them if the app is deleted.
You can change these permissions at any time in your device Settings.
Summary and translation use Appleโs built-in on-device models. iOS may download a language pack from Apple on first use; this is handled by the system under Appleโs privacy policy, and your document content is not sent.
Siri Shortcuts and the widget run on your device and only open the appโs tools. No data is sent to the developer.
The app collects no data from any user, including children under 13.
If you write to us through the support page or by email, we use your name, email and message only to reply to you, and never share them with third parties.
